Government Advisory Experience
PMD senior staff have advised a number of governments in the Americas, Africa and Asia on a variety of assignments over the years.
The Turkish debt restructuring was sufficiently successful that PMD Principals continued to advise the Government on a broad range of financing issues including inward investment promotion, limited recourse transactions, privatization and the development of new funding sources.
Further government advisory assignments have included, among others, the promotion of specific projects, the development of fiscal and other investment incentives, the creation of new financial instruments and financing agencies and the establishment of free trade or export zones.
PMD senior staff have worked in various countries to introduce new financial instruments, capital market creation, public stock exchange development, and public sector asset privatization. PMD senior staff have also advised on public and private sector debt restructuring and renegotiation.
